Texture 2023 Wendling Vineyard Pinot Noir

Texture 2023 Wendling Vineyard Pinot Noir

The 2023 growing season provided ideal conditions for Winemaker Erich Bradley to craft a compelling expression from Wendling Vineyard's distinguished heritage clones. The extended coastal hang time allowed each clone to reach optimal physiological ripeness, revealing the full breadth of the property's terroir. Drawing from the prized southeast-facing block, this wine reflects both the site's inherent power and finesse.

Winemaker Notes

Wendling has been recognized by winemakers and critics alike as one of the great Pinot sites of Coastal California. Developed and farmed by the most accomplished grower in the region, Paul Ardzrooni, this is as close to the Pacific Ocean as Pinot can grow and ripen in Anderson Valley. The structure of the Pinots that are made from here give collectors the unique option of long term cellaring.
