The 2018 Lucky Well Chardonnay is the first vintage since the passing of legendary viticulturist Ulises Valdez, who rarely inherited vineyards but instead planted and developed his own through careful research and a true grower's instinct. That vision yields a masterful Chardonnay each year at Lucky Well: crisp, mineral-driven, and reminiscent of Grand Cru Chablis. We're proud to continue that legacy with his family.

Planted by legendary West Sonoma County grower and my old friend, Ulysses Valdez, Lucky Well will always be a special place for me. The Chardonnay from here is second to none for those seeking crisp, structured wine that expresses place.
