Texture 2016 Rued Vineyard Chardonnay

Planted by Warren Dutton 50 years ago in the hills toward Occidental, this celebrated site gave rise to the widely propagated Rued Clone. We secured fruit from the last remaining block of the original 1969 planting, high in Green Valley's cool, Pacific-influenced terrain, ideal for the tension that defines Texture wines. Rich, plump, and unabashedly French in style, it balances exotic depth with the focused acidity of a wine built to age.
