Texture 2015 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

A close-up of a textured off-white wine label wrapped around a dark bottle, with embossed script and printed text reading 'Texture Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2015'.
The 2015 vintage brought an unexpected surprise for Texture. As harvest concluded, Erich Bradley heard from longtime friend and master viticulturist Ulises Valdez: a generous yield at Laguna Vineyard, one of his finest sites in Forestville, had opened a rare chance to offer Chardonnay from this coveted spot. In a year that produced perhaps the finest coastal Chardonnay in a generation, Erich moved fast to secure it. Picked early for the bracing acidity that defines Texture, the fruit was joined by Chardonnay from Ulises' Lancel Creek and Lucky Well vineyards in Occidental — three exceptional sites united in rich, balanced harmony, true to our Burgundian roots.

Winemaker Notes

This effort is intended to over-deliver in every way. Age worthy, versatile and modestly priced given the pedigree of the fruit that goes into it. Enjoy now and later…
