Not only does it play a critical role in our Left Bank, Right Bank and Momtazee blends, but in this bottling it shines entirely on its own with the balance and tension that have come to define Moon Mountain Vineyard. Cabernet Franc’s exacting demands require ample daytime heat to ripen, tempered by cool evenings to preserve its limited acidity. Once satisfied, the resulting wine is a collector’s gem – rich, savory and intensely concentrated, with precise tannins and a lengthy finish.
