Winemaker Notes

Anderson Valley has had a spell on me for the past 25+ years, and the Charles Vineyard has been wrapped up in the vortex of that since 2012. A pure expression of Pommard farmed by the dynamic duo of Bill and Nancy Charles and located at the gateway to AV if you are heading northwest on Highway 128 on the outskirts of Boonville. This is the ultimate welcome wine to anyone venturing into this rarefied territory.
